[EN]Manon Lescaut is an Italian-language opera in four acts composed by Giacomo Puccini between 1889 and 1892 to a libretto by Luigi Illica, Marco Praga and Domenico Oliva, based on the 1731 novel Histoire du Chevalier des Grieux, et de Manon Lescaut by the Abbé Prévost. The opera was first performed in 1893 in Turin, at the Teatro Regio.

The Intermezzo, also entitled "The Journey to Le Havre," comes at the end of Act II of the opera.

[DE]Manon Lescaut ist eine italienischsprachige Oper in vier Akten, die von Giacomo Puccini zwischen 1889 und 1892 nach einem Libretto von Luigi Illica, Marco Praga und Domenico Oliva komponiert wurde und auf dem Roman Histoire du Chevalier des Grieux, et de Manon Lescaut von Abbé Prévost aus dem Jahr 1731 basiert. Die Oper wurde 1893 in Turin am Teatro Regio uraufgeführt.

Das Intermezzo, das auch den Titel "Die Reise nach Le Havre" trägt, steht am Ende des zweiten Aktes der Oper.
