In September 1899 Antoon Tierolff started a music shop and publishing house in the centre of Roosendaal, the Netherlands. He was a musician, composer and conductor. From the very beginning he imported music books and scores, mainly from France for all instruments and also for ensembles such as concert band and salon orchestra. The trade in instruments and accessories was also an immediate success throughout the region. Tierolff's daughter Ea and her husband Huub Vergouwen took over the company at the end of the 1920’s and in the 1960’s their son Toon Vergouwen got in charge. Shortly before the millennium, the 4th generation took over the company and Koen Vergouwen is still in charge of the company.

Some of our today?s composers are Harm Evers, John Nimbly, Rob Balfoort, Willy Hautvast, Ivo Kouwenhoven, Wim Laseroms, Ton Verhiel, Kees Vlak, André Waignein, Benoit Chantry, Olivier Pols and the late Randy Beck. More recently Kah Chun Wong from Singapore and Chen Qian, Wang Hesheng and Yu Jianfang from China have joined our composers team as well as the Austrian composers Fritz Neuböck, Thomas Asanger, and Patrick H. Hahn, Evan Feldman from the US and Johan Nijs from Belgium.

A division that has grown tremendously the last couple of years is our flexible wind ensemble-division: if you have trouble finding easy combining pieces, flexible for any combination of instrumentalists or a young (starting) group of musicians, the series "Tierolff for Young Band" will be the solution to any problem! The collection includes 5 demo cd?s that are available on request and already over 100 appealing pieces.

Veni, Vidi, Vici - Harm Jannes Evers

Veni, Vidi, Vici Harm Jannes Evers

War March of the Priests - Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy / Arr. Rob Balfoort

War March of the Priests Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy / Arr. Rob Balfoort

Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (1809-1847) was a German composer from the beginning of the Romantic period. He may well have been the biggest child talent apart from Mozart. This 'War March Of The Priests' from Athalia' (Opus 74) had its premiere in 1845. A catchy theme varies with nice, lush melodies and makes this music perfect performance material for wind and fanfare bands. ...
