Viktor Fortin composer

Fortin Viktor geb. in Fohnsdorf, Steiermark, 14. Mai 1936. Er studierte seit 1956 am Steiermärkischen Landeskonservatorium bei Rudolf Schwenzer (Klavier), Rudolf Frodl (Fagott), Ilse Strzelba (Blockflöte) und Waldemar Bloch (Komposition). Als Lehrer an steirischen Musikschulen und später an verschiedenen Gymnasien, absolvierte er das Studium der Germanistik und Musikwissenschaft an den Universitäten in Graz und Wien sowie der Schulmusik an der Kunst-Universität in Graz; 1965 Lehramtsprüfung, 1985 Dr. phil. Seit 1968 gehörte er dem Lehrkörper der Abteilung Musikpädagogikder Kunst-Universität Graz an, 1979 zum o.Professor für Blockflöte ernannt; 2004 emeritiert.
