Tony Cliff composer

Tony Cliff BMus (Hons), MPhil, ALCM, FISM, FLCM, Cert.Ed graduated from Royal Holloway College, University of London and my early career combined teaching, lecturing and professional performing. For many years I was Senior Lecturer in Music at the University of Salford, specialising in jazz composition, arranging, history, and analysis and performance techniques and it was during this time that my music began to be published. My work is currently published by several companies including Stainer and Bell, Faber Music, Studio Music, Kirklees Music and Winwood Music. My music ranges from works for solo instrument and piano to choral pieces and works for brass band and jazz orchestra. A number of my compositions have been recorded on CD and have been regularly broadcast.
