Suzanne Welters composer / arranger
Suzanne Welters (NL) was born in 1969. She studied both piano (with Avi Schönfeld and Tonie Ehlen) and saxophone (with Norbert Nozy) at the Conservatory in Maastricht.
She graduated with distinction (First Prize and Superior degree). She has also worked with Ryo Noda, Arno Bornekamp, Günter Priesner and Jean-Marie Londeix.
She teaches saxophone in several music schools and gives masterclasses in The Netherlands and abroad. She plays in the Limburg Symphony Orchestra, in the Limburg Fanfare Orchestra and in Duo Con Brio"" (with her former piano teacher Gaby Devies). She has performed as a soloist with many different orchestras and bands (Rhapsody in blue (piano), Concertino for alto saxophone by Jerry Billik, The Three Storms by Hardy Mertens, ...).
