Morse Robert Gorhamgeb. in Boston, Massachusetts, 1874, +Marblehead, ebda., 1965. Als Techniker arbeitete er bei verschiedenen Bergbaufirmen. Daneben gehörte seine Liebe der Blasmusik. Er schrieb u. a. den Marsch "Up the Street" (bearb. Ramsdell, 1895; bearb. Yoder, Rubank 1961; bearb. Ostling, Belwin-Mills 1956).
