Raoul Christophe composer
At the age of 9, the musician and soloist Raoul Christophe began his trumpet studies at the Conservatoire de Musique de la Ville de Luxembourg in the class of Professor Charles Consbruck.
In 2001 he obtained a gold medal in the class of Professor Frédéric Presle at the Conservatoire National de Région de Boulogne-Billancourt and a higher diploma in trumpet with Professor Roman Zaremba at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg.
From 2002 to 2004 he studied at the Conservatoire de musique de Fribourg (D) with Anthony Plog and Ewald Antoni.
In 2005 he was accepted as a trumpeter in the Grand Ducal Military Band. Today he is a solo trumpet player in the big band, the big band, the dixie band and the brass quintet.
In addition to his activities as a military musician, he has already given concerts with the Latvian Chamber Orchestra, the Metz Chamber Orchestra, the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Luxembourg Jazz Orchestra, the Big Band Opus78 and with the Canadian singer Paul Anka.
He has already taken part in numerous recordings in the Grand Duchy and abroad. In addition, he has perfected his skills in various "Masterclasses" with internationally renowned trumpeters such as Ole Edvard Antonsen, Guy Touvron, Pierre Dutot, Jouko Harjanne, Michael Sachs, James Watson, Antoine Aquisto, Arturo Sandoval, Jon Faddis.
