Olivier Boreau composer
Born in 1969, Olivier Boreau pursued his musical studies in Chalon-sur Saône, Dijon and Paris.

- 1st prize of euphonium at the National Music School of Chalon-sur-Saône. Prof. Gilles Lutmann.
- 1st prize of euphonium at the Conservatoire National de Région of Dijon. Prof. François Poullot.
In 1992, 1st prize of chamber music at the Conservatoire National de Région of Dijon.
In 1993, unanimously-first-prize in euphonium at the Prix Supérieur Interrégional at the Conservatoire National de Région de Nancy
In 1997, 1st prize of bass trombone at the Conservatoire National de Région of Chalon-sur-Saône. Prof. Claude Daloz.
In 1998; 1st prize of bass trombone at the Conservatoire of Paris. Prof. Frédéric Potier.
At the same time, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Musicology at the University of Dijon.
Holding State diplomas for conducting and tuba teaching, he was awarded several prizes as a composer :
- 1st prize in 2000 at the National Composition Competition in Decazeville with "bleu acier".
- The Rotary Prize in 2002 with "Attila" at the International Composition Competition for windband in Comines-Warneton (Belgium).
Tubist, trombonist, he is currently teaching large brass instruments and conducting several windbands in Blanzy (France).
