Michael Geisler composer / arranger

date of birth: 13.08.1979

Michael Geisler wurde 1979 in Tux im Zillertal geboren. Nachdem er als Zehnjähriger das Trompetenspiel erlernte, trat er 1992 der Bundesmusikkapelle Tux bei. 1998 rückte Michael Geisler zur Militärmusik Vorarlberg ein. Nach der Ausbildung zum Musik-Unteroffizier ließ er sich 2001 zur Militärmusik Tirol versetzen, wo er seither als Registerführer tätig ist. Von 2006 - 2008 absolvierte er die Kapellmeisterausbildung bei Generalmusikdirektor Edgar Seipenbusch, dem langjährigen Dirigenten des Symphonieorchesters. Von 2001 bis 2009 war Michael Geisler Kapellmeister der Bundesmusikkapelle Tux, und ist seit 2008 Bezirkskapellmeister des Musikbezirkes Zillertal.
