Maarten Vonk composer

Marteen Vonk performed as double-bassist at the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, at the Dutch Ballet Orchestra and with Schönberg Ensemble. He performed as guest musician for almost all professional Dutch orchestras. He founded his own bassoon company in 1981. 25 years after, he celebrated the special anniversary with the release of his book “A Beautiful Bundle, Handbook for the Fagot” that was presented in New York. Marteen is self-taught. He learns through daily practice and through an open dialogue with musicians.
