Len Orcino composer

date of birth: 30.09.1945

Len Orcino is retired after teaching 35 years in northeastern Ohios public and private schools. His experience includes elementary, high school, community college and the last 23 years at the middle school level. He received the Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and has done additional graduate work in jazz education at North Texas State University. He has considerable performance experience as a jazz pianist and big band leader and sideman, and also as a tubaist with various orchestras, bands and brass ensembles. Len has composed works for many ensembles whom he has taught or with which he has performed over his career. Currently, Len plays euphonium in the Lakeland Community College Civic Band.
