José Salvador González-Moreno composer
Born in Alquería de la Condesa in 1961. He began his musical studies of solfège and trombone under the guidance of Don Vicente Catalá in his home town. Later he continued his training at the Unión Musical "San Francisco de Borja" in Gandia with Don Hermenegildo Amorós Catalá, and at the same time he entered the Conservatorio Superior de Música in Valencia as a pupil of Don Joaquín Vidal.
At the age of 15, he moved to Madrid where he finished his studies at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid under the guidance of Don José Chenoll, where he was awarded the prize for the end of his studies. At the same time, he complemented his studies with Don Humberto Martínez Aguilar, collaborating with the Orquesta Nacional de España as a contracted player. At the age of 16, he was admitted by competitive examination into the corps of non-commissioned officers musicians of the Spanish Army. He studied transcription and conducting under the baton of Don Francisco Mullor and Don Bernardo Adam Ferrero.
He enters by competitive examination in the corps of sub conductors musicians of the army, being assigned to the music of the Mechanized Infantry Division "Maestrazgo Nº3" with headquarters in Valencia transforming this unit into the "General Headquarters of the F.M.A.". He has been in charge of the Unión Musical Santa Cecilia de Barx (Valencia) for 10 years.
He has been teaching trombone in the Unión Musical Alaquasense of Alaquás (Valencia) and in the Symphonic Band of Aldaia for 7 years.
