Jon Harpin arranger

Jon Harpin studierte Trompete und Klavier und schloss sein Studium an der Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama ab. Anschließend arbeitete er freiberuflich in Glasgow in verschiedenen Jazz- und Bigband-Kontexten, bevor er als Musiker auf Kreuzfahrtschiffen arbeitete.
Jon lebt heute in Trowbridge Wiltshire und spielt Lead-Trompete für Bands in Bristol und im Südwesten Englands.

Er hat ein starkes Interesse an der Musik von Duke Ellington und hat einige seiner dunkeleren Stücke transkribiert.
