*Venlo, 2. Juni 1892, +Hollandse Rading, 22. Juni 1972. Militärkapellmeister M. Kleij unterrichtete Pala in den Fächern Violine, Klarinette und Klavier. Als Siebzehnjähriger trat Pala in das Marinemusikkorps in Den Helder ein. 1933 erwarb er das Dirigentendiplom. 1939 ließ sich Pala in Rotterdam nieder, wo er mehrere Musikkapellen dirigierte sowie als Komponist und Bearbeiter tätig wurde.
