Hein van Maarschalkerwaart arranger

Hein van Maarschalkerwaart a.k.a. Art Marshall studied English and began his career as teacher of English in St Maarten NA. After a 6 years contract he went back to Holland to continue with his professional music studies ( clarinet and bass clarinet) and he worked as an orchestral musician in the Amsterdam Police Band and later in various Dutch theater and symphony orchestras.
He also began to arrange and became an internationally renown arranger (Art Marshall) for clarinet quartet/ ensemble and other wind ensembles.
In 2008 he was awarded the distinguished order of Oranje Nassau for his work in Education in the Netherlands Antilles.
He lives in Curacao where he performs and teaches music (clarinet & saxophone)
Art Marshall published a course for ad-lib playing "Take up Jazz" which was published in the UK, France, Germany and Holland.
