*St. Minver, Cornwall, 18. August 1944. Er studierte 1962 bis 1965 am Royal College of Music in London und erwarb das Diplom als Musikpädagoge 1966 an der Universität Reading. Nach Dozententätigkeit an verschiedenen Musikschulen ist er seit 1981 als freischaffender Komponist, Arrangeur und Dirigent tätig.
