*Choruice (u Melníka), 28. Oktober 1888; +Nový Vestec (u Stará Boleslavi), 1. Juli 1940. Von 1903 bis 1905 besuchte er als Orgelschüler das Prager Konservatorium. 1905 trat er als Flügelhornist in die Militärkapelle in Kutná Hora ein. 1908 wurde er Kapellmeister in Brandys nad Labem. 1912 ließ er sich in Prag nieder, um dort einen Musikverlag zu gründen. 1918 übernahm tolc die Leitung der Sokol Kapelle, von 1928 bis 1933 dirigierte er die Kapelle der Nationalgarde in Prag. Er hinterließ mehr als eintausend Kompositionen.
