Edward L. Ayola composer

Edward L. Ayola was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. He was a member of the bands under the direction of Mr. Charles S. Peters, Mr. AR. McAlister, and Mr. Bruce Houseknecht. Mr. Ayola played for six years in Army Bands and graduated from the Navy School of Music in Washington D.C.
His bachelor of music education degree came from the University of Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was Principal Tuba in the Tulsa Philharmonic Orchestra. Soon after, he attended Vandercook College of Music in Chicago and received his master of music education degree.
Mr. Ayola has been a public school instrumental music teacher in Illinois for the past 28 years. The last 24 years have been spent teaching in Lombard, Illinois, in the elementary schools and the junior high school.
