Davide Donazzolo arranger

Davide Donazzolo was born in Belluno on 12/11/1978 and lives and works in Cortina d'Ampezzo. He has been inextricably linked to music and the accordion since he was very young, beginning his studies at the Music School of the Cortina d'Ampezzo Music Corps, of which he has been an active member since 1994 as a percussionist. He began studying classical accordion at the A. Steffani State Conservatory of Music in Castelfranco Veneto in September 2001, graduating in February 2007 under the guidance of Maestro Ivano Paterno.
During the same period, he attended seminars on the accordion and jazz, and on the world of Astor Piazzolla, the latter held by Maestro Ivano Battiston. He has collaborated with various music schools as a teacher. He currently teaches accordion at the Dea Zima music institute in Cortina d'Ampezzo and the Sanvitese Music Association.
He attended the course in Band Instrumentation at the F.A. Bonporti State Conservatory of Music in Trento, graduating in 2013. During this period, he attended numerous seminars on composition and instrumentation for wind orchestras held by Maestros Angelo de Paola, Donald Hunsberger and Ferran Ferrer. He is enrolled in the second year of the second-level academic diploma course in band instrumentation in Trento under the guidance of Maestro Daniele Carnevali. In June 2014, he won second prize in the national band composition competition in Mugnano (Perugia) with the piece Ad Deum.
