CHRISTIAN TUNS was born in 1978 in Romania. In 2001, he received his Bachelors Degree in Oboe Interpretation and Chamber Music at the University of the West in Timisoara, Romania.
He held the Principal Oboe position at the Arad State Philharmonic Orchestra for over 15 years and had an intense collaboration with orchestras both from Romania and from Western Europe, including the Isny Opera Festival Orchestra.
Christian Tuns has performed as soloist in Romania, Japan, Hungary, France, Germany, Italy, China, Holland, Spain and the United States. Since 2016, he has held the position of Principal Oboe of the National Opera House in Timisoara.
