Bob Cerulli composer / arranger

Bob Cerulli graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music, the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA), and The College of New Jersey, where he earned Bachelor of Music degrees in music performance and music education, and a Master of Music in conducting. He performed with the Buffalo (NY) Philharmonic Orchestra (Josef Krips, Conductor), and as Principal Bassist with the New Jersey Capitol Philharmonic. Bob is a freelance bassist in Philadelphia and Atlantic City (NJ) performing with many of the stars of Broadway and stage shows, and has recorded with many of the top artists of the day, including the Mike Douglas show. Bob has performed with Henry Mancini, Johnny Mathis, Bill Conti, Michel LeGrand, Marvin Hamlish, Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli. Bob performs annually with the Bel Canto Alfonso Cavalieri Memorial Concert Orchestra.

Mr. Cerulli's compositions and arrangements for orchestra cover a wide range of classical and popular styles and are performed by orchestras all over the world. Bob taught undergraduate and graduate music courses at Rutgers University, Rowan University, and Immaculata University, and currently teaches music theory, composition, and double bass at Rowan College at Burlington County in New Jersey. He also taught music for the New Jersey public schools for twenty-nine years. Bob conducts orchestra performances and reading sessions for regional festivals in the United States.
