Er dirigierte zahlreiche Musikvereine und komponierte u.a. etwa zehn schöne Märsche (wie "Marschbereit", Trompeterruf", "Vivat Lucerna") und drei Ouvertüren. Er starb 1963 in Villars-sur-Ollan.
