Warum nicht mal zu Weihnachten nach Rio fliegen und unter dem Zuckerhut die 'Jingle-Bells goes Rio' Samba tanzen? Das besonders populäre amerikanische Lied 'Jingle Bells' wurde 1857 von James Pierpont für das 'Thanksgiving' Fest in seiner Kirche in Boston komponiert. Es wurde bald in das Repertoire der Weihnachtslieder aufgenommen und wuchs sich schnell aus zu einem der populärsten nichtreligiösen Weihnachstlieder der Welt. Das Lied wurde dann auch in vielen verschiedenen Formen eingerichtet; hier wurde es mit einer rhythmischen Samba Soße übergossen.

It turned into one of the most popular non religious Christmas songs in the world. Jingle Bells was subject to countless arrangements and here it is flavoured with a rhythmical samba style.

Pourquoi ne pas prendre l'avion pour fêter Noël à Rio de Janeiro et danser une samba au son de ce 'Jingle Bells go Rio' au pied du célèbre 'Pain de Sucre'? La toute populaire chanson américaine « Jingle Bells » fut composée en 1857 par James Pierpont pour la Fête de Thanksgiving » célébrée dans son église à Boston. Elle fut rapidement intégrée au répertoire des chants de Noël. Depuis, elle est devenue la plus populaire des chansons de Noëls non religieuses au monde. « Jingle Bells » a connu pas mal de version différentes ; voici une version animée au rythme d'une savoureuse samba.

Het enorm populaire Amerikaanse Jingle Bells werd in 1857 gecomponeerd door James Pierpont voor het Thanksgiving feest in een kerk van Boston en kwam nadien snel op het kerstrepertoire terecht. Het groeide uit tot één van meest populaire niet-religieuze kerstliederen ter wereld. Het werd dan ook in allerlei vormen gegoten; hier werd het met een ritmisch sambasausje overgoten.
