Felix Bernard (1897-1944) auf einen Text von Richard Smith komponiert. Das Lied wurde besonders beliebt dank der Interpretationen von u.a. den Andrews Sisters und vor allem Perry Como. Der Text (Sleigh bells ring, are you listening; snow is glistening) half bestimmt zur Bildung der klassischen Schneeszenen mit Kindern die Schneemänner machen, Szenen die todsicher immer mit Weihnachten assoziiert werden. Phantasie wird Wirklichkeit in Winter Wonderland. Hier gibt es eine ganz schöne Konzertfassung.

Probably the most popular versions of this classic Christmas song were recorded to high acclaim by the Andrews Sisters and Perry Como. The lyrics of Winter Wonderland have undoubtedly contributed to the magical vision of snow at Christmas together with the tradition of building snowmen and therefore turning fantasy into reality by creating a real Winter Wonderland. Here we have a nice arrangement for concert band.

La chanson américaine très connue 'Winter Wonderland' a été composée en 1934 par Felix Bernard (1897-1944) sur un texte de Richard Smith. Elle est devenue très populaire grâce à de belles interprétations dont celles par les Andrews Sisters et surtout Perry Como. Le texte (Sleigh bells ring, are you listening; snow is glistening) a certainement contribué à l'élaboration de l'image classique de la neige et des enfants qui font des bonhommes de neige, image indissolublement associée aux Fêtes de Noël.
