Step aside, Dark Knight and Spiderman, the Emerald Falcon has flown into town! Your high school orchestra will love the dark harmonies and driving rhythms of this exciting new overture, written in the style of a superhero movie. All sections of the orchestra are featured in this tour-de-force, as the rich melodic material is passed from instrument to instrument. A lyrical middle section features an extended violin solo and a beautifully tranquil solo for string bass.
