This is the fourth movement of the five-part suite 'Nomenclatura' commissioned by the Dutch Customs Band 'Douane Harmonie Nederland'. This movement is a quiet ballad, that could be considered as a quiet moment in the suite, introduced by the woodwinds (especially the English horn) and melodic percussion whereafter the trumpet, the horn and the saxophone sections join, before the lower brass and percussion completes the group.A fine tune and a well-balanced orchestration are the biggest assets of this nice ballad.

Voici la quatrième partie d'une suite en cinq mouvements intitulée 'Nomenclatura', une commande de l'Orchestre d'Harmonie des Douanes Néerlandaises :'Douane Harmonie Nederland'. Il s'agit d'une ballade reposante, que l'on pourrait considérer comme un moment de repos dans cette suite ; elle est introduite par les bois (dont le cor anglais) et la percussion mélodique ; puis les trompettes, les cors et les saxophones s'y ajoutent avant que les cuivres graves et la percussion complètent l'ensemble. Une belle mélodie et une orchestration équilibrée sont les grands atouts de cette agréable ballade..

Dit is het vierde deel van de vijfdelige suite 'Nomenclatura', een compositie geschreven in opdracht van de Douane Harmonie Nederland. Dit keer gaat het om een rustige ballade, een moment van rust in de suite, ingeleid door de houtblazersgroep (o.m. met althobo) met melodisch slagwerk, waarna respectievelijk trompet, hoorn en sax en later het lage koper en de volledige slagwerksectie bijtreden. Een leuke melodie en een evenwichtige orkestratie zijn de attributen van deze ballade.
