March from Griffelkin Lukas Foss
This delightful excerpts from the 2nd act of the devilishly clever opera by Lukas Foss that was the hit of the 1993 New York City Opera season, has been expertly rescored for wind ensemble by the composer. The music (a march for mechanical toys) is offbeat, great fun to play and listen to, and will be ideal for many good high school and college bands.
