At just 18 years old, he took over the direction of a brass band, and his extensive experience in amateur music-making is clearly reflected in his numerous compositions. These works are especially popular among lower and intermediate-level ensembles, as they are both musically appealing and technically manageable. Rambacher's credo is: Well-sounding music doesn't have to be difficult or complicated! and this rings absolutely true. The cheerful lyrics to this polka were written by Alfred Fischer-Thurn.
