Scenes Alsaciennes: II. Au Cabaret Jules Massenet

The second movement of Massenet's seventh suite for orchestra, At the Tavern is a rollicking, good time memory of the province of Alsace. It has been brought down a step from the original for ease of performance. It is a wonderful example of the composer's music not written for the theatre.
