[DE]Das "Oboenkonzert" für Oboe und Band wurde von dem renommierten Oboisten Daniel Ibáñez Martínez in Auftrag gegeben, dem der Komponist das Werk aufgrund seiner Bewunderung für diesen großen Instrumentalisten widmete.

Das Werk wurde 2016 komponiert und existiert in einer Version für Oboe-Klavier und Oboe-Orchester.

Die Form dieses Konzerts ist ein einziger Satz, der in verschiedene, klar identifizierbare Abschnitte unterteilt ist. Seine Sprache bewegt sich im überwiegenden Teil des Werkes in einer Tonsprache mit viel Farbe und Reichtum in der Orchestrierung.

The work was composed in 2016 and exists in a version for oboe-piano and oboe-orchestra.

The form of this concerto is a single movement, divided into different clearly identifiable sections. Its language moves in the vast majority of the course of the work within a tonal language with much colour and richness in its orchestration.

"Oboe Concerto" is a work charged with emotion and rhythm. For the most part, this concerto exploits a wide range of technical possibilities that the oboe possesses, making full use of its entire register. Virtuosity is present throughout much of the work, contrasting with a section in which the melodies blend into the atmosphere with a sentimental and passionate touch.
