Komponist / Composer: Dario Bortolato
Arrangeur / Arranger:
Instrumentation: Concert Band
Produkttyp / Product: Partitura e parti A4+ (24 x 32 cm)
Il Pullman (The Bus) is a fun and imaginative piece that tells a story with music:
you have to imagine a wonderful spring morning when a bus (represented by trombones) drives cheerfully through the city between sounds of car horns and the sirens of ambulances.
But the day is so beautiful that our protagonist gets a bit caught by the desire to run, run, run ... until, taking too much speed, it can no longer stop and makes a mess!
Now comes an ambulance to its rescue: it seems a serious problems, conditions are desperate!
Fortunately though, slowly, the bus comes back to life and starts to run again among honking horns, roaming happily back into the streets of the city even perkier than before.
The piece ends with a cacophonous sound effect to imitate a traffic jam.
