The end of the year special is an original composition not based on any carols, written originally for orchestra for a French TV channel to celebrate their end of the year festivities. It's a short 2 1/2 minute opener with lots of tuned percussion and sleigh bells, plus some solo work for the euphonium. It's fun and festive and a great way to open any Holiday concert. There's even an optional part for women's chorus if you like. End of the Year Special could very well be the perfect opening for your Christmas concert.

Cette composition de Andrew Pearce était écrite à la commande de TF1, pour encadrer musicalement les festivités de fin d'année. Dans cette pièce étincelante et festive un rôle important est préservé à l'euphonium, aux percussions mélodiques et aux sleigh bells'. Tout finit avec le thème captivant que Pearce écrivait pour TF1 et Ciné Dimanche. End of the Year Special est l'ouverture parfaite de votre concert de Noël !

Deze compositie van Andrew Pearce werd geschreven in opdracht van de Franse televisiezender TF1, om de eindejaarsfestiviteiten muzikaal te omlijsten. Dit sprankelende en feestelijke stuk met een belangrijke rol voor euphonium, melodische percussie en 'sleigh bells' is de perfekte opening voor uw kerstconcert.Omdat de arrangementen voor harmonie, fanfare en brass band echt vers van de pers zijn is er op dit moment alleen een opname voor symphonie orkest beschikbaar. Uitgevoerd door het City of Prague Orchestra and Choir.
