Vítor Manuel Silva Resende, born in São Cipriano, in the municipality of Resende, on 04/01/1986. He began his musical activity at the age of 7 in the Banda Musical de S. Cipriano A Nova.
He attended the Percussion Course at the Gaia Regional Conservatory, with Jacob Oliveira, Bruno Costa, Luís Oliveira, Hugo Vieira, among others, as his teachers.
He also attended the Jazz ao Norte School in Porto.
He has been a guest musician for various Philharmonic Bands. He has given masterclasses as a percussion coordinator.
He has taken part in festivals in France and band competitions in Spain.
He has worked with the Orquestra Douro Superior, Orquestra de Sopros Piaget, Orquestra do Conservatório Regional de Gaia, Orquestra de Sopros e Percussão da Academia de Música de Lamego, Banda Sinfónica da Covilhã.
He has worked with conductors Tristão Nogueira, Alexandre Fraguito, Orlando Rocha, Luís Cardoso, Alberto Madureira, Francisco Ferreira and Jean-Sébastien Béreau, among others.
