Vicki Tucker Courtney composer / arranger

VICKI TUCKER COURTNEY (b. 1954) is a pianist and composer. As a child, she frequently participated in the Van Katwijk Piano Contests and later studied under Paul van Katwijk himself, a composer and the conductor of the Dallas Symphony. Courtney's musical education continued through high school, and after graduating she studied piano performance at North Texas University. Though she spent many years in the corporate world, Courtney has returned to her musical roots. Her first choral arrangement was published in 2004, and since that time, various companies have published works. Today, she is a full-time writer, gives private piano lessons, and is frequently invited to play for church services and choral concerts.
