Shuhei Tamura
Shuhei Tamura composer / arranger
Born in Okayama city, Okayama in 1986. He learned how to play piano since childhood and started to compose at 17. Graduated from Department of Composition of Tokyo University of Arts, obtained the masters degree in Music Education, Graduate School of Education of Tokyo Gakugei University. Won the third place in the composition department (general department) of the Sogakudo Japanese Song Competition.
He is engaged in the arrangement and composition of orchestral music, chorus, wind music and chamber music. He has published many scores and CDs, mainly on wind music. In addition, he also arranges animation music and background music. Now dedicated in some music activities such as wind conductor, guest conductor, judge of wind competition and ensemble competition, as well as music magazine submission and the cultivation of the next generation. He has been an adjunct lecturer at Tamagawa Academy and Tokyo Gakugei University, now is the adjunct lecturer at music department of Tokaha University Junior College. Served as the principal of music arranger for the 37th National Tree-planting Festival in 2013 and Inter-high School Competition in 2016.
