Sergi Pastor arranger

Sergi Pastor is a conductor, teacher, composer and arranger committed to the current musical scene. He graduated from the Higher Conservatories of Music in Valencia and Castellón, specialising in Solfeggio and Music Theory, Saxophone and Composition and Instrumentation. At the same time, he studied Piano and Orchestra and Band Conducting.

As a composer, he has written several works for symphonic band, as well as others for chamber music. He has received several commissions, from private and public entities, of arrangements and instrumentations for band and symphonic orchestra. He has a varied discography as a composer and conductor, as well as various publications in specialised magazines and music publishers.

He has conducted, among others, the Symphonic Band of the Ateneo Musical y Cultural de Albalat de la Ribera, the Symphonic Band La Lira de Carcaixent, the Symphonic Band Santa Cecilia de Cullera, the Municipal Band of Bilbao, the Municipal Band of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the Municipal Symphonic Band of Madrid. He has been Principal Conductor of the Band of the Sociedad Artística Musical de Alginet between 2004 and 2015.

Since 2014 he has been Principal Conductor of the Symphonic Band of the Asociación Musical La Filarmónica Alcudiana, obtaining in 2016, the 1st Prize and Honourable Mention in the XL Certamen de Bandas de la Diputación de Valencia, as well as the 1st Prize and Honourable Mention in the XXXVIII Certamen de Bandas de la Comunidad Valenciana.
