Philipp Mersa (Vipiteno, October 13, 1982) is an Italian drummer and composer.
The son of Beatrix Niederwieser, second wife of Pooh bassist Red Canzian, Philipp was born in the mountains of the Isarco Valley, in the autonomous province of Bolzano. During his career, he has played with various Italian musicians: his most significant collaborations have been with Pino Daniele, the Pooh, and Zucchero Fornaciari.
