Chuck Bridwell composer / arranger

Chuck Bridwell has been Minster of Music at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco, Texas since September of 1999. The music ministry at the church includes nine choirs, an orchestra, plus several vocal, handbell, and instrumental ensembles involving over 600 musicians. He also served in churches in Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Florida. Chuck, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and a Master of Church Music degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. Mr. Bridwell has been President of the Singing Churchmen of Oklahoma, Florida Baptist Singing Men, Florida Baptist Church Music Conference, and Singing Men of North Central Texas. In addition he has also served on the Executive Council of the Baptist Church Music Conference. He is presently an adjunct instructor in church music at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, as well as serving on the Board of Advisors for the Center for Christian Music Studies at Baylor.
