Glory Of Love was composed in 1986 by Peter Cetera, Diane Nini and David Foster and became internationally famous as the title song of the film The Karate Kid Part II. The emotional pop ballad is characterized by a clear verse chorus structure that begins with an introductory passage and gradually builds to a powerful climax. In the concert band edition arranged by Marcel Saurer, the well known melody is first presented in warm woodwind colors before unfolding in full orchestral richness.
