Studio Music Company was established in 1957, primarily as a publisher and distributor of Brass Band music.

Over the years we have invested in other areas of publishing, particularly Concert Band and Instrumental music. Our catalogues include works from many of the world’s top composers. Our Band and Instrumental catalogues also include several thousand popular copyrights, as a result of our close relations with several major publishers: Warner-Chappell, EMI & Music Sales, to mention just a few.

We now have an enviable reputation as, probably, the premiere source of printed Band and Orchestral music in the UK. This position has been supplemented with our representation, as distributors, of some of the world’s largest Band publishers including: – Hal Leonard Corporation USA; Warner Bros. USA; Canadian Brass Publications USA; Ludwig Corporation USA; Musicians Publications USA; Advance Music Germany.
