Thomas Wyss composer / arranger
Thomas Wyss wurde 1964 geboren und wuchs im Saanenland (Berner Oberland)auf. Er spielte als Tubist in der Brass Band Berner Oberland und in der Nationalen
Jugend Brass Band. Seit 1986 lebt Thomas Wyss in England, wo er unter Major Pe-
ter Parkes, Phillip McCann und Howard Snell studierte. Während mehr als acht Jah-
ren spielte er in der Britannia Building Society Band und zuvor bei Grimethorpe Col-
liery und Sellers Engineering. Er war Gründungsmitglied des Howard Snell Brass
Ensemble und ist zurzeit Tubist beim bekannten Quintessence Brass Quintett. Auch
ist Thomas Wyss als Dirigent verschiedener Formationen tätig.
