René Pisters ( Roermond , 30 September 1961 ) was a Dutch composer , music educator , conductor and trumpeter .
Pisters studied from 1978 to 1984 at the Maastricht Conservatory with André Stolwijk (school music), with Peter van Tilburg (trumpet) and with Rien Rats and Sef Pijpers Sr. (harmony and fanfare conducting). He subsequently taught music at the primary school 't Kempke in St. Odiliënberg and at the same time taught small copper at the KREATO foundation in Thorn . As a music educator, he also worked at the Broekhin school community in Reuver and Swalmen , but also in schools and colleges in Roermond and Horn . He was affiliated with HsZuyd, Maastricht Conservatory as a teacher of teaching methodology (department of music teacher).
As a trumpet player he was associated with the brass quartet "Hub Crüts".
As a conductor he has worked for various orchestras, wind bands and choirs such as:
