Pedro Ángel López Sánchez composer
He began his musical studies at the Municipal School of Villena, later joining the town's band under the direction of Vicente Pérez Pellicer. Later, he moved to Alicante to finish his professional and higher music studies specialising in flute at the Oscar Esplà Conservatory, where he began in the world of conducting under the baton of José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana in the courses of the Regional School of the Vall d'Albaida. He perfected these courses with teachers of the stature of Enrique García Asensio, José Miguel Rodilla, Alex Schilling, Jan Cober, Cristóbal Soler, Francesc Cabrelles, Lorenzo Della Fonte, Franco Cesarini, Eugene Corporon and Jan van der Roost, among others. He participated in the VIII International Conductor Academy organised by the RBO in Leipzig (Germany), where he graduated in Band Conducting at the Instituto Superiore Europeo Bandistico, under the tutelage of the prestigious international conductor Jan Cober and Maestro Carlo Pirola.
