Marcia Fountain arranger

Marcia Fountain performs on baroque cello, renaissance and baroque viola da gamba, medieval vielle, and recorders. She holds the Bachelor of Music in cello performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, the Master of Music in cello performance from Northwestern University and the Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Iowa. Among others, she performs with the Early Music Consort of El Paso, Muse El Paso and the Rio Baroque Ensemble. In her retirement she looks forward to introducing even more people young and old to the pleasures of performing in and listening to live music.
