Lüder Knop composer

German composer and organist. He was the last musical member of an East Friesian family who moved to Bremen from Emden in 1584 and were active there as civic and church musicians. After briefly being assistant organist at the Ratskirche Unserer lieben Frauen in 1641 he succeeded his father as organist of St Stephani and held the post until his death.
