Sie absolvierte das Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music und studierte an der Youngston State University, an der Bowling Green State University, an der Vandercook School of Music und an der Kent State University. Neben ihrer Tätigkeit als Hornistin im Lima (Ohio) Symphony Orchestra unterrichtet sie an der Leesburg High School und an der Northern Ohio University.
