Born on 15.09.1983 in Rosenheim, Korbinian received his first trumpet lessons at the age of seven. When he was 9 years old, he travelled to Italy and Slovenia with his first band, the "Wuidbarrnbuam". In 1998 he worked with the brass quintet "esBRASSivo". Here he also made the decision to make music his profession. A short while later, he also taught his first pupils.
When he left school in 2001, he began studying trumpet with Prof. Erich Rinner at the Tyrolean Landeskonservatorium, Innsbruck. "He taught me to play the trumpet and about life for 6 years" The result of this relationship was his concert exams on the trumpet. During his studies he won several prizes and attended workshops with Hans Gansch, Gabor Tarkövi, Josef Eidenberger, and many more.
His classical engagements included The Landestheater Innsbruck, the Tyrolean Festival in Erl, the Bolzano Haydn Orchestra, and the Munich Federal Police Orchestra. He had additional performances with "esBRASSivo" and the "Blechbriada" on both trumpet and organ.
Alongside the strict classical music, it was always important to Korbi to make Bavarian folk music. Of course from the heart, casually and with plenty of room for experimentation. This was also the reason why he founded "Bavarobeat" with some friends in 2010 and shortly afterwards "Lenze und de Buam". In 2012 he joined the radio band "Polly4President". Since 2013 he is trumpet player for Stefan Dettl's rock band and the band "LaBrassBanda".
