*Wien, 20. März 1856, +ebda., 5. Juni 1908. Als Militärkapellmeister gehörte er seit 1878 dem Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 47 in Triest, Wien, Marburg an der Drau und Graz an, danach dem Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 49 in Krems, Brünn und Wien. Einige seiner Kompositionen, darunter der steirische 47er-Regiments-Marsch, finden sich noch heute in den Marschbüchern zahlreicher Musikkapellen.
