Jirka Kadlec composer / arranger
Jirí Kadlec (pseudonym Jirka Kadlec) was born on 19 September 1979 in Ostrava, Czechoslovakia. He learned the euphonium at the age of seven and the trombone at twelve. During his studies at the Janácek Academy and at the University of Freiburg with Prof. Branimir Slokar, he won several prizes at trombone competitions. He then became solo trombonist with the Bohuslav Martinu Orchestra in Zlín until 2013. He currently works as an arranger for Editions Marc Reift. He is also solo trombonist in the Marc Reift Orchestra and provided all arrangements on his solo CD "Sunday Mood? His motto: The style of music doesn't matter as long as the heart is in it.
