Jerrell R. Gray arranger

Jerrell R. Gray (b. 1989) composer, conductor, musician, is a graduate of Southern University and A&M College where he received his Bachelor of Music degree. He is a native of Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Gray has published works with Hal Leonard, Walton Music, Inc., and GIA Publications, Inc. His works and commissions have been performed nationally and internationally. He is the founder and director of the Neoteric Chorale. Mr. Gray is continuing his education pursuing a M.M. in choral conducting and composition. Most recently, Jerrell received two commissions. Jerrell was commissioned by the Cincinnati Song Initiative to compose a piece in the Inaugural National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Composer Mentorship Program. Jerrell was also commissioned to compose a Song cycle for the Master's Recital of Hailey Cohen through the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater and Dance Eileen Weiser EXCEL Fund. Jerrell has an extensive career composing original works, Art songs, and setting Biblical texts, Hymns, Ethnic texts, and Spirituals.
